Rupa Dairiy Farms

We are over in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, specifically at Plot No. 15/92 in the Kalyanpuri Market area. It’s usually quite loud around here with all the other shops and people moving about. The morning is our busiest time, as you can probably guess. Milk comes in early and we have to get it ready before the sun is fully up. The floor is often wet from washing the cans and the smell of fresh dairy is just part of the air we breathe. It is a bit of a tight space inside, but we make it work with the refrigerators and the counter. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the cooling, that's just how things are here. We have seen the market change a lot over the years. New shops come and go, but we stay right here. Most of our customers live in the flats nearby and they just stop by on their way back from the park or school. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and making sure everything is clean. We don’t have any fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk in the corner for the accounts and a lot of steel containers. When it rains, the market gets muddy, but people still come for their curd and milk. We just keep going, day after day, keeping things simple.
