Parul Home Designs

We are located over at 371 Gagan Vihar, right off Vikas Marg. If you know the Vikas Marg stretch, you know the traffic can be a real headache most times of the day. Our spot in Gagan Vihar is a bit more tucked away, which is nice. Parul Home Designs is basically a converted space that we’ve filled with all sorts of things. There are stacks of catalogs on every flat surface and small bits of material samples tucked into drawers. We don't really have a proper layout; we just put things wherever they fit at the time. The walls have some old marks from when we moved the heavy cabinets last year. We spend our time looking at drawings and talking to people about what they need for their houses. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring. The back room is where we keep the heavier samples and it’s a bit of a mess, to be honest. We have a small stove in the back to make tea, and the smell of it usually fills the whole place by ten in the morning. It feels more like a house than a business sometimes, which I guess makes sense given what we do. We don't have any staff in uniforms or anything like that. It’s just us in our regular clothes, working through the pile of folders on the desk and making sure things get done. It gets quiet in the evenings when the traffic finally dies down outside.
