UVA International

Our office is on the second floor at 472 in the F.I.E. Patparganj Industrial Area. It’s a busy building in a busy part of Delhi. Being in an industrial area like Patparganj means there’s always trucks moving and people rushing around. UVA International is based right in the middle of all that. We are up on the second floor, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the street, but you still hear the city all day long. We do a lot of international coordination, which sounds fancy but it’s really just a lot of emails and phone calls at all hours. The office is functional and gets the job done. We have our desks, our files, and a small space where we can make some tea. We don’t have any flashy decorations or a big reception area. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow or broken, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. The F.I.E. area has a lot of other companies too, so it feels like everyone around us is also just trying to get through their to-do lists. We’ve been here for a while and it suits us fine. We just focus on our tasks and try to make sure everything runs as smoothly as it can. It’s not always easy but it is what we do here every day.
