Our workshop is located at B-30 in the Jhilmil Industrial Area, which is a pretty active part of Shahdara. If you’ve ever been around here, you know it’s mostly just rows of small factories and a lot of trucks moving in and out all day. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time, and the building shows its age a little, but it works for what we do. Inside, there is always some kind of noise from the machines running or the sound of metal being moved around. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, with some oil stains on the floor and dust on the higher shelves, but that’s just part of being in the manufacturing business. We don't have a big reception area or anyone wearing suits. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes, making sure the orders are being filled. Shahdara can get very crowded, especially in the afternoons, so we usually try to get our deliveries sorted early. The neighbors are other small shops and units, so we all kind of know each other. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we just have to deal with it on the fly. It is simple, hard work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than that. We just stay busy at B-30 and try to keep everything on schedule.
