Our office for Indian Computers Pvt. Ltd. is located at B-216 in New Ashok Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s a maze of streets and small businesses all packed together. We’ve got our setup on one of the floors there, filled with screens, cables, and the constant hum of cooling fans. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There is always someone typing or a printer going off in the background. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood grow around us. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying new equipment in. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations. Most of our walls are covered in calendars or notes about things we need to finish by the end of the week. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we all just take a breather until the generator kicks in. That’s just part of life in New Ashok Nagar. Our desks are usually cluttered with parts and coffee mugs because we stay pretty busy from morning till evening. It’s a good group of people working here. We know the local tea seller and the other shop owners on the block quite well. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just show up, do the computer work that needs doing, and head home when the shutters go down.
