Egal Masale

We've been running Egal Masale for a while now from our shop in New Kondli. It's right near Siddharth Mandi, so a lot of people pass by daily. Spices and ground powders are mostly what we deal with here. Our place is just a small shop, B2/51, but it keeps us busy enough. My day starts early, opening the shutters and making sure the stock is ready for the morning. Neighbors come in for their regular kitchen needs and we chat for a bit. It’s not fancy, just a straightforward shop where grinding and packing happen throughout the day. Sometimes the smell of the spices, especially the chilies, gets a bit strong in the small space, but you get used to it after a while. I try to keep things organized on the shelves so customers can find what they need quickly without too many questions. Looking back, the area around the mandi has changed quite a bit over the years. Our focus stays on getting the work done and making sure the packets are weighed right on the old scale. If you’re walking past the mandi, you’ll probably see our sign hanging out front. It's a local spot, nothing too complicated about how we do things. Staying here in New Kondli and keeping the grinding machines running is our main priority. Hard work is expected, especially when it gets hot outside in the summer, but it’s what we do. Not a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is handled. We have been in this location for many years now.
