Creatives Engineers Consultants is based out of 44A in Pocket 1, over in Mayur Vihar Phase I in New Delhi. It’s a busy part of the city, but Pocket 1 is where we’ve settled. Our office is pretty functional. We have desks, some old drafting stools, and a lot of technical manuals stacked on the floor because we ran out of shelf space. Being in Mayur Vihar makes it easy for people to get to us, but the parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We focus on the consulting side of things. It’s a lot of meetings and looking over plans. We don’t use a lot of buzzwords. We just tell it like it is. If a plan has a problem, we point it out and try to figure out a fix. It’s practical work. My coffee mug is always half-full on my desk, and there's usually a bit of dust on the windows from the New Delhi air. We aren't a big flashy firm. It's just a few of us who have the experience to look at engineering problems and give an honest opinion. We’ve been in this pocket for quite some time now. People in the neighborhood know us as the engineers who are always at their desks. We don't have a big PR team. We just do the consultations and move on to the next one. It’s a steady way to live and work here in the city.
