Computer Home

Computer Home is tucked away in H-89 D in Patparganj. We’ve been here in this part of Delhi for several years now. The shop is basically a room filled with spare parts, old monitors, and a whole lot of tangled wires. It might look a bit chaotic to someone walking in for the first time, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Usually, the day starts with checking what repairs are pending from the day before. We get all sorts of computers coming in, some so old I’m surprised they still work at all. It gets pretty warm in here when all the machines are running, but we have a decent fan that keeps the air moving. Patparganj is a busy area, so there is always someone coming in with a broken screen or a laptop that’s running slow. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big shiny sign out front. It is just a practical place to get tech stuff sorted out. We drink a lot of chai and chat with the regulars who live in the flats nearby. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific part to arrive, which can be a bit of a hassle. But mostly, we just keep busy with the screwdrivers and software updates. It’s a small operation and that’s just the way we like to run things here.
