Alcoa Asia Ltd. is based on the 6th floor of the Meridien Commercial Tower. Our specific spot is 619/620, right on Raisina Road. It’s a tall building, so we spend a fair bit of time waiting for the lifts in the morning. This is our India Liaison Office, so there is usually someone here answering calls or looking over papers. It’s not a huge space, but it fits the desks and the files we need. Working in a tower like this means it feels a bit tucked away, but we like the view of the city from up here. Most days are spent on the computer or talking to people over the phone about different projects. The address sounds a bit formal because it is in a commercial tower, but inside, we are just a regular team trying to stay on top of our daily tasks. We don’t have fancy lounges or anything like that. It’s just a standard office setup with enough light and a lot of coffee. Being on Raisina Road is convenient for getting around, though the noise from the street stays down there and doesn't bother us much on the 6th floor. We usually head out for lunch nearby when the weather isn't too hot. It is a steady place to work, and we have been in these units for some time now. We just focus on keeping the communication lines open and making sure the paperwork for the Asia branch is handled right.
