Madan Trading Co.

Madan Trading Co. is located at J-9 in Pandav Nagar, right here in Delhi. We have been in this same spot for a long time, trading various goods and making sure our customers get what they need. The shop is usually full of boxes and bags, so there isn't much space to move around. It’s a family business that started years ago, and we just keep it going the same way it’s always been done. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for decades. The street outside is always busy with rickshaws and delivery trucks. We open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Sometimes we have to hunt through the stacks of inventory to find a specific item. The desk in the corner is where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a bit dusty because of the traffic outside, but we don't mind. We know all the other shopkeepers in Pandav Nagar and we often share tea in the afternoons. The building is older and has its own smells and sounds. We don't have any fancy signs, just the name painted on the front. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like anything more than it is. We just focus on the orders and making sure the counts are right at the end.
