A.C.C Limited (Holcim Group )

We are part of A.C.C Limited, which is under the Holcim Group, located at B-5 in the A.C.C. Colony. This is at the Jamul Cement Works in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Being in Jamul means we are right in the heart of the cement belt. Our office is a basic building within the company colony. It’s a quiet spot compared to the actual factory floor, but you can still hear the machines in the distance. We handle the local administration and some of the coordination for the Holcim group’s interests here. The office has old wooden desks and a few computers that have seen better days. We don’t really do any promotion or marketing from this office; we just manage the day-to-day logistics. It’s a very straightforward environment. Most of us live in the same colony, so the commute is just a short walk. We spend a lot of time checking inventories and making sure the staff records are updated. The weather in Durg can be incredibly hot, especially in the summer months, which makes the office a bit stuffy. We just get on with our tasks. There’s a sense of history here because the Jamul works have been around for a long time. We aren’t looking to be anything other than a solid part of the local production chain.
