We are located at Qtr. No. D-3 in the Acc Colony, near the Post Office in Jamul. This is in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh, with the pin code 490024. Our office is associated with Bhupendra Kumar Sharma and is part of the larger Holcim Group. Even though we are part of a bigger group from Switzerland, our day-to-day life here in Jamul is very local. The quarter we work out of is a simple brick building, much like the others in the colony. It is situated right near the post office, which makes it easy for people to find us. We have been in this spot for a good while. The atmosphere in the colony is busy but friendly. We spend a lot of time on our computers and dealing with the local logistics for the cement works. It is not a fancy corporate environment. We have our own way of doing things that fits the local culture here. The summers are tough with the heat, but we manage. Most of the people we interact with are our neighbors in the colony. We don't put on any airs or graces; we just handle our business in a quiet, practical manner. There are trees around the quarters that give some shade, which is nice in the afternoons. It is just a regular workplace where we get through our list of things to do.
