Hi Tech Engineering

You can find us at No. 12 on Round Road. It’s a decent spot for an engineering shop like Hi Tech Engineering. We do a lot of the basic mechanical work that people in the area need. Our workshop is filled with lathes, drills, and various tools that have seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't the kind of place that uses fancy computers for everything; a lot of what we do is still down to the skill of the person holding the tool. It gets greasy and loud, especially when we are working on a big piece of equipment, but that’s the nature of the work. The name says Hi Tech, but we are really more about practical solutions and getting things fixed so they stay fixed. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the paperwork gets done, but most of the time we are out on the floor. Round Road can get a bit congested with deliveries, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve had some of the same customers for a long time because they know we just do the work without any fuss. It’s a simple setup. We open the shutters in the morning, drink some tea, and then get started on whatever job is next on the list. There is always something to weld or a part that needs to be ground down to the right size. It's dusty work but someone has to do it.
