Precision Machines

Precision Machines is run by P. Balamurugan and we are located at No. 5/75 in the Weavers Colony. This is over in Adianoothu Village, part of Nallampatti. It is not a city office with air conditioning and glass walls. It is a workshop where things actually get made. You can hear the sound of metal and machines from the street. The air usually smells like oil and grease. We spend our days working with our hands, fixing things or cutting parts to the right size. It’s dusty work and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been in this village for quite a long time. People around here know Balamurugan and they know where to find us in the Weavers Colony. It is a quiet area mostly, except for when we are running the heavy equipment. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just do the work that comes in. If a machine needs fixing, we fix it. If a part needs to be made, we make it. It’s simple and honest. Sometimes we sit outside in the shade when it gets too hot inside the shop. Nallampatti is home for us, and this workshop is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not glamorous, but it is what we know how to do best. We just keep the machines running.
