Tamizhankudil Resorts Private Limited is up in Kodaikanal. We are located at 1/33 Chellapuram Road, which is near the Observatory in the Puthukadu area. It’s a beautiful part of Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, with all the mist and the trees. Our office is basically at Mahendran’s place. It’s not a big corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s more of a local spot where we figure out how to run our resort business. Life moves a bit slower up here in the hills. We spend our time talking to guests and making sure the property is looked after. The road can be a bit winding and narrow, but that is just how Kodaikanal is. We like the quiet here. It helps us focus on what we are doing. We aren't interested in using fancy words to describe ourselves. We are just local people trying to make a living in the hospitality world. Some days are busy when tourists come in, and other days it is just us and the cold air. We deal with whatever comes our way, whether it's a plumbing issue or booking a large group. It’s practical work. We’ve been here for a while and we know the land well. Being near the Observatory means we have a nice view sometimes, which makes the long hours a bit easier. We don't need a lot of flashy things to get our work done for the people who visit.
