Nagar area in Chennai, but this is where the administrative side of things often gets handled. The street is quiet, typical for a place like Iyyampalayam. We don't have a grand lobby here. It’s more of a personal space where we keep the ledgers and handle the family business details. Sethuraman takes care of the day-to-day things. The house has been in the family for a long time. We use one of the front rooms as an office space. It has a heavy wooden desk and some old chairs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out letters. It’s not a fast-paced environment like the hotel itself, but it’s where the important decisions get made. We don’t have fancy software or a big IT department. We just use what we have and keep a close eye on everything. Sometimes the local kids play cricket on the street outside, and you can hear them shouting. It’s a very traditional way of doing things.
