About Sri Amman Granite – Building & Construction Material in Dindigul
You can find Sri Amman Granite out at No. 391 in Eallapatti Village. We are right on the road that goes from Dindigul to Palani, specifically the Pudhuchathram Post area. If you see Akshaya School, you are very close to our yard. It is a quiet village for the most part, though the road gets a lot of trucks passing through going between the bigger towns. We have our granite slabs lined up outside where the sun hits them. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the crane when someone wants to see a specific piece. Dealing with granite is tough work because it’s so heavy and you have to be careful not to chip the edges. We spend our days out in the air, checking the stock and talking to people who stop their cars because they saw the stone from the road. Being near the school means we see the kids and parents coming and going twice a day. It’s a simple life out here in Eallapatti. We don't have a big corporate office; we just have our stone and the tools we need to cut it or load it onto a trailer. The weather is usually hot, and the work is definitely sweaty, but that is just part of the granite business. We’ve been here for some time now and we just keep doing what we know how to do best, which is handling stone.
