Seetharam Marbles

Seetharam Marbles is located at number 74 on Sandai Road in Mettupatti. It is a regular sort of place where we keep our stock of marble slabs. Sandai Road can get pretty packed, especially on market days when there are people and vehicles everywhere. We have a lot of heavy stone sitting around, and we spend most of our time shifting it from one pile to another. Marble is beautiful but it is also a lot of work to move without scratching it. Our yard in Mettupatti is where we spend all our hours. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, which is normal when you are dealing with stone all day long. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just a small space to sit and the rest is all storage for the marble pieces. Most people who come here are just looking for something sturdy for their floors or bathrooms. We don't do much talking, mostly just showing the pieces we have available at the moment. We have been at this spot for quite a bit. The routine is the same every day: open up, check the stock, and wait for the next delivery truck to show up at the gate. It's manual work and it keeps us on our feet all day long. We like being part of the Mettupatti area even if it gets a bit loud with the road noise. It's just a simple, local business run by people who know their stone and how to handle it.
