R. K. Granites

You can find R. K. Granites at 5/786 Senbham Street in Kooturavu Nagar. We have a yard here where we keep all our granite slabs for people to look at. Senbham Street is a bit tucked away, but it’s where we do our work. We spend the day moving stones around and showing them to people who come by looking for something for their home. Kooturavu Nagar is a decent place to be, and we’ve gotten to know the people living nearby over the years. The work is physically demanding, especially when we have to move the larger pieces of stone by hand or with the help of a small crane. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing our sign or hearing about us from someone else. The yard can get a bit messy with scraps of stone and dust, but we try to tidy up every now and then when we have a spare moment. Sometimes we have a lot of one color and none of another, so we have to tell people to wait a few days for the next delivery. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we sell. It’s just granite. We show you the slab, tell you the price, and that’s about it. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
