Arulmigu Palaniandavar Arts College For Women

This is the Arulmigu Palaniandavar Arts College For Women. We are located over in Chinnakalayamputhur, which is part of the Palani Taluk area in Dindigul. It’s a pretty big campus compared to some other places nearby. Many of the students come from the surrounding villages and towns in Tamil Nadu to study here. We’ve got different blocks for different subjects, and there’s always someone walking across the courtyard to get to a lecture. The staff room is usually busy with people marking papers or having tea. It’s not a quiet place during the day, that’s for sure. You can see the hills in the distance when the weather is clear. We spend a lot of time making sure the schedules are right and that the classrooms are ready for the girls every morning. The college has been around for a bit, so some of the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people know us because their sisters or cousins went here before. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams happen on time. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running a college this size, so the office is always full of files. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day. It’s a busy life here in Chinnakalayamputhur.
