About Sathya Vidhyalaya International School – Education in Dindigul
We've been here on Batlagundu Main Road for a while now. If you drive down Sh 154 towards Seemanuthu, you can’t really miss us. It gets pretty dusty out there on the road, but inside the gates, things are usually a lot quieter. Most of us here grew up in this part of the world, so we know how the heat is during the afternoon. We try to keep the classrooms decent so the kids can focus on their books without sweating too much. It’s a normal school day here, starting early when the buses pull in. We don't have anything too fancy, just the classrooms and the playground where everyone runs around at lunch. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there’s a local festival or if the rain makes the road a bit messy. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we walk or take short rides to get here. We spend our time checking notebooks, making sure the kids aren't too loud in the halls, and getting through the syllabus before the exams come around. It’s just us doing what needs to be done. Sometimes we have to fix a leaking tap or paint a wall, but that’s just how it goes with an old building. We see the same faces every day and we’ve seen plenty of kids grow up and move on from here. It's just a regular place where learning happens one day at a time.
