You’ll find us at 758 in the C T O Colony. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so the surroundings are mostly other workshops and small factories. Our place is full of the sounds of machines and the clanking of metal parts being moved around. There is usually a layer of fine dust on everything, and the floor has a few oil stains that have been there for years. We spend most of the day wearing heavy clothes and dealing with raw materials that come in on the back of big trucks. The layout of the place is designed for moving things quickly, so it’s not exactly a comfortable spot to sit down and relax. We have a small corner with a desk where we keep the records and the time sheets, but we’re usually out on the floor instead. C T O Colony is a busy place during the day, with a lot of workers moving back and forth between the different units. Our hands are often covered in grease or grime from the equipment, but that’s just part of the job here. We don’t have any big flashy signs out front, just the number on the gate. It’s a place for hard work and making things, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. Every evening we shut the big heavy gate and get ready to do it all over again the next morning.
