We chose to focus on spices because this area is really well-suited for them. The hills and the climate here give the spices a good flavor that you do not always get elsewhere. We are just a small local company. We are not out here trying to be some massive spice exporter that forgets where it came from. We work closely with the people living in the surrounding hills. It is a lot of climbing and walking to get to some of the plots where we grow things. Our office is just a regular house where we keep everything organized. We do not have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just know our spices and we know the farmers who grow them. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, and the roads are not always the best, but we make it work. It is a very practical way of living and working. We just want to keep doing what we are doing and maybe help a few more neighbors along the way. We are just regular folks who appreciate the land and the crops it gives us. It is a quiet but busy life here in Peren and we are happy with that.
