Nagaland has some great spots for growing things, and Molvom is definitely one of them. We focus mostly on pineapples because the land here seems to really like them. It is not a complicated business. We plant, we tend to the fruit, and we harvest when it is time. We do not have a lot of fancy machinery, so a lot of it is done by hand. It is honest work that keeps us busy throughout the year. The house in the village is our main base, but you won't find us inside very often during the daylight hours. We prefer being out where the fruit is. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to produce good pineapples and make sure the people in our village have a way to get their produce out to others. Sometimes things don't go exactly to plan, like when the rain comes at the wrong time or the truck breaks down, but that is just part of being a farmer. We take the good days with the bad and just keep moving forward. It is a simple life, but it is ours and we are proud of the work we put into it.
