You can find us over at Jagan Cold Storage in Village Ninokhar. It is right on the Saipau Road in the Dholpur area. Being part of a farmer producer company means we spend a lot of time dealing with the actual people growing the food. Progressive Agriculture Farmer Producercompany Limited sounds like a big name but we are really just a group of folks working out of a cold storage unit. It stays cool in there which is a relief when the Rajasthan sun is beating down outside. Dholpur is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we get a lot of walk-ins. People come by to talk about their crops or just to see how the storage space is looking for the next harvest. It is a lot of logistics, honestly. We have to keep track of what is coming in and what is going out. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up because we are busy helping someone unload a truck or checking the temperature settings on the machines. It is not always smooth, but we make it work somehow. Living and working in Ninokhar is quiet mostly, except for the traffic on Saipau Road which can get loud. We do not have any big speeches or goals other than making sure the farmers here have a place to put their stuff. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening most days. It is just how life is here.
