R T Computers

Working with computers in Hubli means you are always dealing with a lot of heat and a lot of dust. We are located at Laxmi Balkrishna Square, right on Station Road. It’s a prime spot in New Hubli, so there is always a crowd of people coming from the railway station or heading toward the markets. Our shop, R T Computers, is units 106 and 107. We spend most of our time hunched over desks or looking at monitors. There are cables running all over the floor, and we try to keep them tidy, but it never lasts long in this workspace. Someone is always coming in with a broken screen or a slow laptop, and we just do what we can with the tools we have. It’s a small space, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of equipment in there over the years. The square gets really busy, and the noise from the street is constant. You can hear the buses and the rickshaws all day long from the open window. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights and glass cases. It’s more of a workshop vibe where we get our hands dirty with hardware and old parts. Sometimes we stay late to finish a repair when the customer needs it back the next morning for work. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the place running. It’s a lot of work, but being near the station keeps us busy.
