We are right beside the Kamaripeth Police Station on P.B. Road. It’s a handy landmark because everyone knows where the station is. The road outside is always full of trucks and cars, so there’s a constant hum of engines. Inside our place, it’s mostly about the smell of paper and glue. We’ve been doing this for quite a while now. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Some of the shelves are a bit crooked and the lighting could be better, but it doesn’t stop us from working. We spend a lot of time measuring things and cutting materials to size. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don’t mind it. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to say hello or ask for a spare box. We keep the doors open most of the time to let some air in, even if it brings in a bit of dust from P.B. Road. Our tools are old but they still work fine. We don’t spend much on decorations because we need the space for storing raw materials. Every morning starts with a quick sweep of the floor, though it never stays clean for long. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It’s a simple setup we have here at India Packaging. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the orders that come in.
