Salimath Engineers

Salimath Engineers is based out of No -19 in the Salimath Building, which is part of the Padma Housing Society. We are right across from the Kirloskar Electric Company on the road that connects Sus and the Airport area. It’s a very industrial part of town, which suits us perfectly. We spend our days working on various engineering tasks, mostly involving machine parts and repairs. The workshop is usually noisy and smells of oil and metal, which is how an engineering place should be. We’ve been here for years, and the building actually carries our name, so we are pretty easy to spot once you get to this side of Sus Road. It’s a family-run kind of operation where we focus on the technical stuff rather than the business side of things. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our overalls working on a lathe or checking some blueprints. Our neighbor, Kirloskar, is a big landmark, so we just tell people to look for them. We handle a lot of different jobs for other local businesses. We don't do much in the way of promotion. The work keeps us busy enough as it is. It’s a tough, hands-on job, but we’ve gotten used to the long hours and the grease. We just try to get the engineering right so the machines keep running like they should. It is honest work.
