Shree Ganesh Engg Works

Our place is Shade No. 557A over in the Belur Industrial Area. Dharwad can be a bit dusty, especially around the industrial patches, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our time working on various engineering tasks, mostly stuff that people bring in when they can't get it fixed elsewhere. The shed is large enough for what we need, though it feels a bit cramped when we have several big projects going at once. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and a quick look at what’s on the schedule for the day. Sometimes a truck will pull up with something heavy and we have to figure out how to move it around. It's not glamorous work, and the noise from the neighbors can be a lot, but we like the pace of it. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners around here. When something breaks down, we just fix it and move on to the next thing. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just know where we are and what we can do. It’s a simple way of running things and it works for us.
