Hotel Vimal

Hotel Vimal is sitting in the Pande Building over at Sangam Circle. This is in the Line Bazaar area of Dharwad. If you know the Sangam Theatre, we are right on that same road. It is a very local spot. The bazaar is always full of people buying vegetables and clothes. We are part of that daily life. The building is a typical older structure. We have been here for quite some time now. Our rooms are simple and we don't try to be anything we are not. People come here because they are visiting family or have some work in Dharwad. We see a lot of students too. The area around Sangam Circle can get pretty loud during the day with all the shops and the cinema nearby. We just go about our business, cleaning the rooms and talking to the guests at the front desk. We don't have a big menu or a fancy dining hall. Usually, people just go out to the bazaar to eat. We have some regular guests who have been staying with us for years whenever they pass through town. The staff knows everyone by name. It is a small operation. We keep the keys on a big board and make sure the water is hot in the mornings. It is just a regular place for regular people in the middle of Line Bazaar.
