Trance Routes

We’re over in Mangalam Mall at G5. Court Road is right outside and it’s usually packed with cars and bikes. Being in a mall means there’s always air conditioning which is nice during the summer months. Our little spot is tucked away in the G5 unit. It’s not huge. We have a desk and a couple of computers. People come in to talk about where they’re heading next. Giridih Town is a small place so we end up knowing half the people who walk through the door. We handle the routes and the details that people don’t want to mess with themselves. The floor in the mall is always shiny because the cleaners are always working. Sometimes we grab a quick lunch from the food stalls upstairs. It’s convenient being here. We don’t have any big posters or flashing lights in our window. Just a simple setup. Sometimes the mall music gets a bit repetitive but you learn to tune it out after a few hours. We see a lot of families on the weekends. They’re usually just window shopping but sometimes they stop in to ask a question. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just us here trying to make sure the paperwork is correct for every trip. Giridih is home and we like being part of the local scene here on Court Road.
