We spend most of our days here in Ward No. 25 on J C Mallick Road. It’s a busy part of Hirapur, right near the Police Line and across from the Durga Mandir. You can hear the temple bells sometimes when things get quiet, but usually, it's just the sound of trucks coming in with cement. My family has been around this area for a while, and we just keep the shop running like it’s always been. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of bags stacked up and a desk where we do the paperwork. We get a lot of people from the neighborhood stopping by. Sometimes they just want to ask about prices or how much they’ll need for a small wall they’re fixing at home. It gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up off the road, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with cement. We open up early and stay until the sun starts going down. People know where to find us because of the temple landmark. It's a simple life. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just the warehouse space and the front area. We try to keep enough stock so nobody has to wait too long. If you're walking past the Police Line, you'll see our sign right there. It’s a local spot where everyone knows each other’s names, and we just focus on getting the orders out to whoever needs them for their building projects.
