Surendra & Company is tucked away in Pandey Mohalla, right near the Railway Colony Diamond Crossing. We are close to Naya Bazar and just a short walk from Bhulli Mod. It’s a hectic area with the trains going by and all the traffic from the market, but it’s a good spot for business. We’ve been in this location for years, dealing with building supplies and whatever else the local contractors need. The building is old and we have stuff piled up in every corner, from bags of cement to various hardware items. It’s not the most organized place you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. My father started this place and now I work here along with a couple of guys from the colony. We get all kinds of people coming in, from big builders to guys just needing a single bag of sand for a patch job. The noise from the diamond crossing can get pretty loud, but you get used to it after a while. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. We just sell what people need at a fair price. Sometimes it’s a struggle to get the delivery trucks through the narrow streets of Naya Bazar, but we manage. It’s a busy, noisy, and dusty life here, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re just a local business trying to serve the community around Bhulli Mod as best as we can every day.
