Shree Ganpati Traders

Shree Ganpati Traders is situated in Amla Para, which is part of Jharia. We are very close to the Durga Mandir, so we often hear the bells and the sounds of the temple throughout the day. It’s a nice place to be, especially during festival times when the whole area comes alive. Our shop in Amla Para is where we handle all our trading business. It’s not a very large place, but it serves our needs. We have stacks of goods piled up, and we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. Jharia is known for its activity, and we fit right into that. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and getting the space ready for whatever the day brings. Most of the people we deal with are regular customers or other traders from around the neighborhood. We don't use any fancy management software; most of our notes are kept in paper registers. It’s how we’ve always done it. The heat can be quite intense in Jharia, so we usually have a fan going in the corner of the office. We take our work seriously but we also spend a lot of time just talking with the people who stop by the temple and pass our door. Being near the Durga Mandir gives our location a bit of a special feeling. It’s just us, working hard in Amla Para to keep things going.
