You can find Jobcare-Computer Education For All at Shop No. 20-21 in Madhav Apartment, right by Park Market. We’ve got this space set up for anyone who wants to learn more about using a computer. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms filled with desks and PCs. During the day, it gets quite loud because of the clicking of keyboards and everyone talking at once. We teach everything from the basics of turning a machine on to more complicated things like using spreadsheets or the internet. The students are a mix of young kids and adults who need to learn skills for their jobs. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a real nuisance for a computer class, but we just wait it out. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job for an hour or two. We spend a lot of time walking around and showing people where to click. Park Market is a busy area, so there’s always noise coming in from the street, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't a big university or anything like that, just a local spot where you can sit down and learn at your own pace. It feels good when someone finally understands a concept they were struggling with. We just keep the doors open and help whoever walks in, trying to make technology a bit less scary for everyone.
