Jagdamba Building Material

Jagdamba Building Material is located right in Katras Bazar. We are very close to Bhagat Singh Chowk, which is a landmark most people in the area know. Being in the bazar means it’s never really quiet. There are always people shouting, rickshaws passing by, and the general hum of the market. Our shop is filled with all the basic things you’d need for a small construction job. We’ve got bags of cement stacked up and various tools lying around. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside sometimes because we try to keep a lot of stuff on hand. The floor is usually covered in a bit of sand or cement dust. We don’t have a lot of help, so we end up doing most of the heavy lifting ourselves. People come in from the chowk, asking about prices or just looking for a specific type of brick. We talk to the other shopkeepers nearby when things are slow. It’s a community feel, even if it’s a bit chaotic with the traffic outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a regular market shop where we work from morning until the market starts to wind down in the evening. We've been here long enough that we know most of the regular faces who walk past our door every day. It’s just how life is in the middle of Katras Bazar.
