You can find us in Bank Colony, out in the Govindpur area of Dhanbad. We’re pretty close to Bhuiphore Mandir and the Gosaidih Village entrance. It’s a dusty part of town, but we’ve made a home for ourselves here at K G Ashram. Doing both decorating and catering means we have a lot of stuff piled up—tent poles, huge cooking pots, and rolls of fabric. It’s a bit of a maze in our storage area. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Usually, people come to us because they saw our work at a neighbor’s wedding or they heard the food was good at a local function. We spend a lot of time on our feet, whether we’re stirring a giant pot of dal or climbing a ladder to hang some drapes. The weather in Dhanbad can be tough, especially when we’re setting up outside, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t try to act like a big city firm. We’re just local people who know how to throw a setup together and get the stove going. If you come by, you’ll likely find us sorting through inventory or washing up after a big weekend. It’s honest work, and we don’t feel the need to dress it up with big words. We just want to get the job done right so the families can enjoy their day. Most days we are just busy keeping the gear clean and ready.
