We are the Larsen & Toubro Ltd crew situated in Cluster 'A' of the East Residency within the Reliance Green Township in Motikhavdi. Being inside a township in Jamnagar makes for a very specific kind of work life. It’s quite green and planned out, which is a big change from the usual city chaos. Our office is at 16-B, and it’s part of the residential-style buildings they have here for staff and operations. The air is a bit cleaner here, and the commute for most of us is just a short walk or a bike ride through the township gates. Inside the office, things are kept pretty neat. We have our workstations set up in a way that makes sense for the small team we have here. It’s quiet, which helps us stay focused on the tasks at hand. Sometimes you forget you are in an industrial area until you see the big structures in the distance. The Gujarat sun can be intense, so we keep the blinds drawn most of the afternoon. We don’t really have customers walking in off the street since it’s a secure township, so it’s mostly just us doing our internal work. There’s a sense of order to the place. We follow a regular schedule, and when the clock hits five, the township gets busy with people heading home. It’s a very stable, predictable environment to work in every day for everyone here.
