Bechtel-Reliance Joint Venture

For the Bechtel-Reliance Joint Venture, we are based out of 49K in Sector 12 of the Reliance Greens Township. This is in Motikhavdi, Jamnagar, out in Gujarat. Working inside a township like this is a unique experience. Everything is very organized and clean, which is different from a regular city office. Our building is just one of many in the sector. It’s a functional space where we manage the joint venture operations. Inside, it’s mostly open-plan with a few separate cabins for meetings. We have a lot of maps and charts on the walls because of the nature of the work here. The sun in Jamnagar can be very intense, so we are grateful for the good cooling system we have. Most of us live right here in the township, so the commute is just a short walk or a quick bike ride. It’s a very quiet environment, almost like a campus. We don't have many visitors from outside, as you need a pass to get into the township anyway. Our team is a mix of different people who have come here specifically for this project. We spend our days coordinating between the two sides of the venture. It’s a very focused atmosphere. We don't have fancy decorations or corporate art. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of work to get through. The 361140 area is quite far from the main city, but we have everything we need right here.
