Yahoo Bag House

Yahoo Bag House is right in the middle of the Faridabad City Main Market, at 5-D/110. If you know the market, you know it gets incredibly crowded, especially on the weekends. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of bags. We have backpacks for kids, heavy suitcases for traveling, and small purses that we hang from the hooks on the ceiling. There’s barely enough room to walk sometimes because we try to show as much as we can. The smell of new fabric and plastic is always there when you walk in. We spend a lot of time showing people how the zippers work or proving how much weight a strap can hold. It’s a noisy place because of the market outside, but we like the energy of it. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years. My hands are usually busy adjusting the displays or dusting off the bags that sit near the front door. We don't do fancy marketing or have a big brand name; we just sell bags that people need for their daily lives or their trips. When the sun goes down, the market lights come on, and that’s usually our busiest time. We just keep going until it’s time to pull the shutter down and head home for the night. The market life is tired but it feels right.
