Akhilesh Plastic

Akhilesh Plastic is located in Vishnu Garden, over in the Tilak Nagar area. We have been operating from this same spot for quite a while now. Our workshop is full of machines that turn raw plastic into different products. It’s a very noisy place when everything is running, and the smell of melting plastic is something you never really forget once you've been here. We have stacks of bags and finished goods piled up against the walls most of the time. The space is a bit cramped, and we have to be careful where we walk so we don't trip over scraps or raw materials. It gets very hot in the summer months because of the heat from the machines and the tin roof. We have a couple of big fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. The street outside is quite narrow, so it’s always a struggle when a truck comes to pick up an order or drop things off. We’ve had to help the drivers navigate the turns many times. We don't have a showroom or a fancy website to show off our stuff. If people want to see what we make, they just come to the workshop and look around. The walls have a layer of dust on them that seems to come back as soon as we wipe it off. We just focus on keeping the machines running and getting the orders finished. It is hard work, but it is what we know and it keeps us going.
