We are Y K Enterprises, located over in Shahdara at Friends Colony, Industrial Area, Gali No 4A, GT Road B 4. It’s a bit of a long address, but once you get into the industrial area, it’s not too hard to find. We’ve got a warehouse and a small office space here. Most of the day is spent loading and unloading stuff. It’s a lot of physical work and we are often tired by the time evening rolls around. The office has an old desk and a couple of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We deal with various industrial goods and supplies. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of all the trucks coming in and out, but we try to keep the office part decent. We started out small and we’ve stayed pretty much the same size over the years. We like knowing our customers personally. There isn’t a lot of formality here; people just walk in and ask for what they need. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess, which slows things down, but we just deal with it. It’s a practical business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just here doing our job in Shahdara every day, making sure the orders get where they need to go without much trouble.
