Vishnu Traders

Our place is over at D-9 in South Extension Part I. It is a busy area so there is always a lot of traffic around us. We spend most of our time dealing with orders and checking the inventory that comes in and out. The office isn't anything special, just some chairs and a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks. We try to keep it tidy but when the shipments arrive, things get messy pretty fast. There is usually someone here from early morning till late evening. We handle a lot of different items and sometimes it gets confusing, but we manage. The stairs up to our section are a bit steep so we tell everyone to watch their step. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. Most people who come here already know where we are. Dealing with suppliers takes up a good chunk of our afternoon. Sometimes the phone rings non-stop and other times it is quiet for an hour. We eat our lunch together in the small back room when we find a gap in the work. It’s a straightforward trading business without any big secrets. We just focus on getting the goods moved and making sure the counts are right. It’s hard work and the days are long, but that’s just how it goes for us here in South Ex. We keep some extra tape and boxes under the table just in case we need to repack something in a hurry.
