We’ve been here at Rama Road Main Street for quite some time now. To be honest, the place hasn’t changed much over the years, though the traffic has definitely gotten worse. Every morning, I come in around nine, pull up the heavy shutter, and start moving things around so there’s space to breathe. It’s just how we do things here at Vishal Products. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working with what we’ve got. Sometimes the fans don't work right when it's really hot, but we manage. My cousin helps me out with the orders when things get busy. Most of the people who stop by are from the neighborhood or businesses nearby that have known us forever. We don't really do any big advertising. Word of mouth is usually enough for us. There are days when the phone won't stop ringing and other days when it’s so quiet you can hear the birds outside. We just take it as it comes. Usually, by the time evening rolls around, my back is a bit sore and I’m ready to head home. We pack everything up, lock the gate, and do it all again the next day. It’s a simple life, and we aren’t trying to be something we’re not. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as best as we can without making a fuss about it.
