Vimla Plastic & Electric Works

It’s a bit of a trek to find us if you aren't from around here, but just look for Street No 1 in the Jhilmil Industrial Area. We have been doing this plastic work for a long time now. My brother handles the electric side of things mostly, so we called it Vimla Plastic & Electric Works. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a few rooms filled with machines and tools. The noise can get a bit loud in the afternoons when we are really going at it. G T Road is always a mess with traffic, so that makes deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't have any fancy awards on the walls, just a calendar and some old photos. People in Shahdara know us by name, which is nice. We just focus on the orders we have in front of us. The address is 1/479 A in Friends Colony Industrial Area. It’s a busy little corner. We try to keep the shop organized, but with all the plastic scraps and wires, it’s hard. Sometimes we have tea with the customers while we talk about the jobs they need done. It’s a very simple setup. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you need something, you just come by and talk to us. We stay open late most nights because there's always something to finish. It’s not an easy life, but it’s ours.
