Our place is in Nangloi Ranholla Village 76, and it’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the village roads. The area is a mix of houses and small workshops like ours. We mostly deal with plastic manufacturing, and the workshop is filled with the sound of the extruders and the smell of warm resin. It’s not a very big operation, just a few of us working together to get the orders done. The yard out front is usually dusty, and we have to cover the raw materials with tarps when it looks like rain. Ranholla has changed a lot since we first set up at number 76, with more buildings popping up every year. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the work going on inside. Most of our days start early before the sun gets too hot, because the metal roof makes it feel like an oven by noon. We take our breaks under the shade of a tree just outside the main gate. The machines are old but they still work fine as long as we keep them greased and maintained. It’s a quiet life out here compared to the main city, and we prefer it that way. We just focus on making the plastic goods and getting them loaded onto the small tempos that come by twice a week. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough.
