Ved Industries

You can find Ved Industries over at B 24 in the Jhilmil Industrial Area in Shahdara. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with all the manufacturing and workshops nearby. There’s always the sound of metal or machines in the background. Our spot is a bit cramped, honestly. We have stuff stacked in corners and the desks are always covered in something. But it’s a working space, not a showroom. We’ve been in Jhilmil for years now and we know the layout of these streets by heart. The traffic around Shahdara can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to leave the industrial zone at once. We usually just stay a bit late to avoid the worst of it. At Ved Industries, we don’t really care for the corporate talk. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the machinery needs fixing or the deliveries are late, and we just deal with it. It’s a practical way of living. The air is thick with the smell of the industrial area, and it gets quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces. It’s just part of the routine. We are a small team and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we know how each other works without saying much. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours, and we’re used to the noise and the pace of Jhilmil. We just get the job done and go home.
