Uttranchal Aluminium

It's been a while since we set up Uttranchal Aluminium here in Indirapuram Vaishali. Most days it is just us dealing with the frames and the metal scraps that pile up in the corner. You know how it is in this part of town, always something being built or fixed. We spend a lot of time just measuring things out and making sure the cuts are right because if you mess up a piece of aluminium, that’s it. It is noisy work, mostly. The machines run for hours and the floors get covered in those little silver shavings that stick to your boots. We don't really do the fancy office thing. There is a desk tucked away in the back where the paperwork sits, mostly under a layer of dust. People from around Indirapuram stop by with sketches on napkins or just an idea of what they need for their windows or doors. We just get to it. Sometimes the traffic outside is louder than the saws, especially in the evenings when everyone is headed home through Vaishali. We keep the doors open mostly to let the air in. It is just a regular shop where we do what we know how to do. Some days are slow, others we can't see the floor for all the material arriving. We just keep going, day after day, handling the metal and trying to stay on top of the orders that come in. It isn't much but it keeps us busy enough.
