Uttam Plastic

We've been here in Kanti Nagar for quite some time now. Most people know the spot on the main road in Shahdara. It's a busy area and we're just part of the daily bustle. Dealing with plastic items keeps us occupied, mostly providing the things people need for their shops or homes. It gets a bit crowded in the shop sometimes with all the stock piled up, but we manage to find our way around. Customers drop in, ask for what they need, and then someone has to dig through the back or the high shelves. It’s not a fancy place by any means, just four walls and a whole lot of plastic products. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud it is hard to hear anyone, but that's just life in Shahdara 28. Doors open early most days because that’s when the new deliveries arrive from the trucks. My cousin helps out when things get really busy, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping for their houses. There isn't a big neon sign, just the name Uttam Plastic painted on the front. Handling plastic means managing a lot of different sizes and shapes, so it takes time to keep it all organized. Keeping things simple is our way. If the stock is there, we sell it. If not, we usually know who might have it. It’s just a regular local business trying to get through the daily grind. The building is old but stays decent in the heat.
