Unique Tool Centre

We are based at 3405/13, Gali Hakim Baka, right in the Hauz Qazi area. It’s a tight spot because the street is narrow, but we are very close to the Metro Station which makes it easier for people to find us. Unique Tool Centre has been here for years. The building is older, and the stairs are a bit steep. We have tools stacked up everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. My father started things here and now we just keep it going. You can hear the noise from the metro and the street vendors all day long. It's a lively part of town. We open early because that's when the traffic starts. Most people who come in are looking for something they couldn't find elsewhere in the market. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's just counters and boxes. Sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one tool at the back. It’s just how the space is laid out in Hauz Qazi. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries. The humidity can be tough in the summer, but we’re used to it. We know most of the other shop owners on Gali Hakim Baka. It’s a small community of traders. We just focus on getting through the day's list. Nothing more to it than that. Just a local shop near the station where we handle the daily business.
